You and your family are invited to the Lewisville lodge annual Chili Cook-off this Saturday January 9th, 2015 starting at 6:30 P.M. Anyone can enter the cook-off, but only one lucky person will win a gorgeous traveling chili cook-off trophy! There is no entry fee to enter a chili but we will be accepting $10 donations per adult (kids eat for free) for all you can eat chili and entry into our door prize give away. One lucky winner will take home the masonic knife door prize. The stewards will be providing salad, chili fixin’s and deserts. Don’t miss this fun opportunity to bring your family and friends to our award winning chili dinner! We look forward to seeing you there!

Update

This year’s 1st Prize Winner was Mr. Tom Sanders. When asked about his prize winning chili recipe, Tom said “I received the recipe for this chili back in the 70’s when it won first prize in another contest.”

This year’s lucky door prize winner was Bobby Hammond who received a square and compasses knife.

Please join us for our annual Christmas Party at the lodge, a great event that fun for the whole family. We will have special guest speaker, Micah Pinsion, a 11 year old who has developed and implemented a program that has distributed over 13,000 toys for needy children. We will have entertainment staring the fabulous Robert Jones performing his Christmas music program. Santa will also be stopping in for pictures and give stockings filled toys for the children. The food will be cooked by the famous Brother Cameron Hickman which will consist of honey glazed ham, turkey, sweet potatoes, green beans, tossed salad and dinner rolls.

The Lewisville Masonic Lodge, its members and officers remain forever grateful for the services provided by our Past Masters and the Widows of our departed Brothers. Annually, we have a dinner to honor and celebrate each of them in recognition for all that they have done and continue to do for us.

This year the dinner will be on Thursday, February 15th 2018 at our lodge building, located at 603 Manco Road in Lewisville. Fellowship will begin at 6:00 P.M., dinner will be served at 6:30 P.M. and a program to honor them will follow at 7:30 P.M.

This event is open to members, friends and family so please come out and show your support and respect to our Past Masters and Widows that have worked so hard to make this lodge what it is today. Feel free to forward this email or invite anyone that might want to attend.

We still need brethren to help pick up Past Masters and Widows that need transportation both to and from the event. Your kind deed of charity is greatly appreciated by the Past Masters, Widows and Brethren of the Lewisville Masonic Lodge.

This event is great fun for the whole family every year. This year we will have a children’s choir for entertainment and lots of good food and friends to talk to. We will also have a “special guest” that evening who will be handing out wishes and toys.

Entertainment & Special Guest Visit – 6:30 P.M.

Meal – to follow

Our meal for the evening will be prepared by our lodge famous Senior Steward Cameron Hickman whose cuisine is sure to impress.  

If you wish to bringing your favorite dessert to the meal we would love to share it with you.
