To the Brothers and families of Lewisville Lodge and to our Sisters and Brothers of the Eastern Star and their families:
Lewisville Lodge will serve our Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday November 19th at 6:00 PM.
This year except for the Turkey the meal will be a Pot Luck meal.
We hope to have a good turn out and we are asking for help from all of you great cooks! You can help by bringing your favorite dish.
The following is a list of things that our Senior Steward has requested for the meal.
The Turkey will be catered by Old Town Meat Market, but don’t let this stop you if you want to bring turkey or ham or another meat entree that goes with the occasion.
We need help in the following items.
Bread:
Rolls
Cornbread
Other –
Cranberry Sauce
Dressing (and lots of it!):
Vegetables
Corn dish
Green Beans
Mashed Potatoes-n-Gravy
Sweet Taters
Casseroles and Creative Side Dishes
Don’t forget the Green Bean Casserole
Desserts (my favorite part):
Pecan Pie
Pumpkin Pie
Nanner Pudding
Apple Pie
Others
And anything else you think we would enjoy with the Thanksgiving Meal.
Our Steward has a signup sheet at the Lodge for the dish(s) you will bring. He needs this for coordination and planning.
